Post-Fire Incident Command
Hygieneering was contracted to conduct air monitoring and incident command for a post-fire multi-agency investigation of a commercial/industrial building. The monitoring of the investigation team was conducted due to the large amounts of chemicals that were involved in the fire. Prior to the investigation team entering the scene, a plan was developed and executed to remove some highly toxic and reactive chemicals in order to reduce the hazards of the scene. The investigation took many days and was completed without any injuries or exposures due to the cooperation, planning and execution of all the team members.

24-Hour HAZWOPER Initial Training
We recently held a HAZWOPER Initial training course at our Training Institute for several of our clients and their employees.
The 24-hour class included classroom instruction as well as hands-on training for use of SCBA's and an extensive practical exercise.
