Managing Respiratory Protection Programs

Course Objectives: 

• Identify administrative components required for employers to establish a respiratory protection program in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.134(c). 

• Apply industry specific requirements

• Apply state and federal standards to the new Silica construction standard

• Identify the requirements for personal protective equipment.

• Evaluate multiple technologies to conduct qualitative and quantitative fit testing in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.134. Identify how the Respiratory Protection Standard interacts with other OSHA standards in your respiratory protection program.
