If you think OSHA is a small town in Wisconsin, you need to read this!

Hygieneering recently completed an OSHA Safety Compliance Review for a Commercial Building Office Campus. The review consisted of field assessments of operations and hazardous conditions/environments, a documentation review of required compliance documents, and suggested solutions for OSHA compliance issues noted. Most of the OSHA issues in a commercial office setting have to do with the maintenance and housekeeping staff, but also with facility operations including emergency evacuation, hazard communication and general safety training. OSHA compliance liabilities identified included walking working surface issues, ladder use issues, machine guarding, electrical safety, improper labeling and storage of hazardous materials and worker training.
