Certified Healthcare Constructor
In Hygieneering’s commitment to serve our healthcare clients with superior service, our lead industrial hygienist and President John Feller recently pursued and obtained certification as a Certified Healthcare Constructor (CEC). A CEC is a professional credential that is awarded by the American Hospital Association to individuals that have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the healthcare construction arena. Hygieneering’s role typically involves participating on Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) teams to establish and implement engineering and work practice controls to protect the hospital population and to conduct associated air monitoring services during construction/renovation projects in hospitals.
