Chicago BOMA Environmental Health & Safety Issues Training

Last month, Brad Karich, Hygieneering’s Director of Environmental Services, presented the “RPA/FMA Environmental Health & Safety Issues” training seminar to members of BOMA Chicago.

This course was designed help property professionals develop and manage proactive environmental/occupational health and safety programs, comply with regulatory standards and guidelines, and assess when to obtain technical assistance.

Key topic areas included local, state, and federal regulations, environmental site assessments, hazard communication, emergency response, asbestos and lead management, ergonomics, indoor air quality, hazardous waste, audits, recordkeeping and more.

Since the seminar, we’ve received some feedback about the course and a specifically about Brad:

  • Great instructor and boosted our confidence regarding taking this exam! Really nice guy with a lot of knowledge with a great attitude.

  • Brad was a wonderful instructor! The topics themselves aren't the most exciting topics, but he was so passionate about everything and make it very exciting. I can't imagine any other instructor would teach this course better than he did.

  • Very knowledgeable and did very well keeping on track with the information.

  • Brad was the best I wish he could teach all the courses

  • I have taken 7 RPA classes and Brad was by far the best instructor that I have had. He is interesting, has real-life examples to back up what he is teaching and most importantly kept us on track with the syllabus the entire time. I really appreciated staying on track as we were able to have a proper review session at the end of the course.
